  1. Start with the plate

Moti pulls what the Ministry of Transport knows: previous ownership, mileage at the last test, structural changes, recalls and more. The data is locked on the listing.

  2. Nothing official can be deleted

Sellers cannot edit, hide or delete an item; they can only reply. A value that changes on refresh is shown next to the earlier one, with dates.

  3. Mismatches are flagged

When what the seller wrote differs from the records, for example owners, year or mileage, the listing shows a neutral mismatch flag with both values.

  4. Read the report

Every listing includes a risk score, findings and data sources. Missing information stays missing.

  5. Protect your details

Location metadata is removed from photos. Registration plates can be redacted before publication. Phone numbers are not displayed.

Before you start

Can the seller change or delete the data?

No. The records are stored server-side with their source and fetch date. Sellers can only add a reply under an item.

What about dealers?

Moti2 does not promise every seller is private, because that cannot be verified reliably. It promises that the official records appear on every listing, from every seller, and that mismatches are flagged.

What does the risk score mean?

The score summarises available government records with factors and sources. Insufficient data never becomes a clean bill of health.

Does the report replace an inspection?

This check uses Ministry of Transport open data and statistical models. It does not replace a physical inspection by an authorised testing centre.

Is the seller verified?

Verification is simulated. A real identity-verification provider is not active; this does not confirm the seller’s identity.

How do I contact a seller?

Sign in with a one-time code to message a seller. Phone numbers are not displayed. Masked phone calls are not available.

Why are some values in Hebrew?

Registry records, seller descriptions and report findings may be shown in their recorded language. Fixed navigation and seller steps are in English.

Vehicle records come from Ministry of Transport datasets at data.gov.il. Each report identifies its exact sources.
